1. ABOUT TULIPA
This website and online store are operated by Tulipa Jewelry Designs, trading under the brand TULIPA, an independent jewelry studio based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
Throughout this website, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Tulipa Jewelry Designs / TULIPA.
By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service together with the policies referenced on our website.
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law.
2. OUR PIECES
TULIPA creates contemporary jewelry by hand in Amsterdam.
Many of our pieces are individually handcrafted and may therefore show slight variations in texture, shape, dimensions, finish, patina, stone characteristics and other details.
These variations are part of the individual character of handmade jewelry and do not, by themselves, constitute a defect.
We make reasonable efforts to represent our pieces accurately through photographs and descriptions. However, colors and appearance may vary slightly depending on lighting, photography and the screen or device used to view our website.
3. ORDERS
By placing an order, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete and that you are authorised to use the selected payment method.
After placing an order, you will receive an electronic order confirmation.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, for example in the event of an obvious pricing or product information error, suspected fraud, payment failure or the unexpected unavailability of a piece.
If we cancel an order after payment has been received, the relevant amount will be refunded.
4. PRICES & PAYMENT
Prices are displayed in the currency indicated on the website.
Applicable shipping costs and other charges will be shown before you complete your purchase.
Where taxes are applicable, they will be handled and displayed in accordance with applicable law.
For deliveries outside the applicable customs territory, additional import duties, taxes or customs charges may apply. Please see our Shipping Policy for further information.
Payment methods available to you are displayed during checkout.
5. SHIPPING & DELIVERY
Orders are prepared and shipped in accordance with our Shipping Policy.
Available shipping methods, costs and estimated delivery times are displayed during checkout based on the delivery destination.
When an order is shipped using a delivery service offered by TULIPA, responsibility for the goods remains with us until they are delivered to you or to a person designated by you to receive them, in accordance with applicable consumer law.

6. RETURNS & RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
Consumers purchasing online may have a statutory right to withdraw from their purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, subject to the conditions and exceptions provided by applicable law.
Certain pieces made according to a customer's individual specifications or clearly personalised may be excluded from the statutory right of withdrawal where the applicable legal requirements are met.

Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights concerning defective or non-conforming goods.
7. CONFORMITY & DEFECTIVE GOODS
Our pieces must conform to the agreement and possess the characteristics that you may reasonably expect from them under applicable consumer law.

8. CARE & USE OF JEWELRY
Jewelry naturally changes through wear and exposure to the environment.
Silver may oxidise and bronze may develop a natural patina over time. These natural material processes do not, by themselves, constitute defects.
Care information is provided on our product pages. Damage resulting from improper use, accidents, abnormal wear or failure to follow reasonable care instructions may not constitute a lack of conformity, subject always to your statutory consumer rights.
9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Unless otherwise stated, the content of this website—including photographs, jewelry designs, artwork, graphics, text, logos, videos and other original materials—is owned by or licensed to TULIPA and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may use the website for personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, commercially exploit or use our content or designs without prior permission where such permission is required by law.
Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.
10. WEBSITE USE
You may use this website only for lawful purposes.

Our online store is powered by Shopify and may use payment providers, shipping carriers and other third-party services necessary to operate the store and fulfil orders.
Use of certain third-party services may also be subject to their own applicable terms and privacy practices.
Purchases of TULIPA pieces through this website are made directly with TULIPA, not with Shopify.

13. LIABILITY

These Terms and agreements concluded through our online store are governed by the laws of The Netherlands.
If you are a consumer residing in another country, this choice of law does not deprive you of mandatory consumer protection rights that apply to you under applicable law.
